Secure the dog shoe with the hook and loop tape on the shoe as well as a wrap around strap
Measuring Your Dog's Paw
1) Place a piece of paper on the floor and let you dog stand on it with one front paw
2) Lift the other front paw so that the paw on the paper is weight bearing
3 )Mark on the paper front and back and left and right where the paw touches the paper (including nails)
4) Measure between these marks to obtain the width and length measurements
5) It is advisable to obtain the measurements twice for confirmation
Do not assume that your dog's breed size indicates the size of shoe required
You need to accurately measure the width and length of your dog's front paw (the back paw will be smaller)
and compare to the chart provided in the listing photos
As long as your dogs paw measurements are no largerr than the measurement provided in the chart the shoe will fit
If either the width or length measurement is larger than a particular size then purchase the next size
It is the wrap around hook and loop that if fitted firmly will keep the shoes on your dog
