If you intend for you dog to only wear the shoes on the back paws due to dragging of the back legs
then take the measurement of the back paw.
How to Measure:
1) Place a piece of paper on a hard surface, then place your dogs front paw on this paper.
2) Lift the other front paw up so that he paw on the paper is weight bearing and mark the top,bottom and sides of the paw.
3) Remove your dog from the paper and measure between the marks you have made to obtain the width and length of your dog's paw.
It is ideal if you can get someone to help you perform this for accuracy in obtaining the measurement
It is recommended that you take this measurement on two occasions to confirm the measurements
We advise purchasing the next size up should your dog's paw measurements
be the same or a little over a stated size.
Take into consideration if your dog is long haired as this extra bulk needs to fit within the shoe
